The Holy Dormition Zhirovichi Monastery holds within its walls a sacred treasure that has captured the hearts of believers for centuries - the Zhirovichi icon of the Mother of God. This holy relic has become one of the most venerated shrines in all of Belarus, drawing pilgrims from far and wide, both Orthodox and Catholic, to pay homage to the divine image.

Decorations
This icon has a hand-carved rectangular central panel. Some elements of the vestments are painted with gold. Certain other elements of the icon are decorated with various shades of gold, too. This icon is also adorned with semiprecious gemstones in casts. It can be additionally adorned with wrought silver, a metal or textile oklad, precious and semiprecious gemstones. We recommend placing this icon in an opening or a non-opening icon case.

The cost of this icon and the time it will take to make it are negotiable, depending on its size and the complexity of its design. Once it is ready, the icon will be consecrated in St Elisabeth Convent.
