Fox and Kolobok Glass Magnet

The Fox and the Kolobok are the characters of a well-known Russian fairy tale.

The Kolobok ran from his home into the woods where he met a hare, a bear, and a wolf, who wanted to eat him. He managed to trick them and escape being eaten. He was very proud of his being so clever and resourceful. However, when he met the Fox - famous for her guile - on his way, she praised him to the skies and flattered him so much that he lost his concentration and did not notice when she came too close. When he finally saw her so close, it was too late… This fairy tale teaches us not to trust the sweet flattering words and not to be too self-confident.

This magnet is made from fused color glass and glass beads. Pieces of glass are placed one on top of another and fused together in a special kiln.

Each item is unique and may be slightly different from the one shown in the photo. The Kolobok is painted with unfired paints.
