In making our liturgical and worship items, we use only natural materials of good quality. The essential supplies for ornamental embroidery are gold and silver threads, pearls, semi-precious stones, gold-coated plaques, gold and silver ribbons, and twisted thread. For pictorial embroidery techniques - used in iconography - we use natural silk threads of different colours.

The Sewing Workshop of St Elisabeth Convent makes high-quality vestments for clergy to measure based on your preferences with regard to color, fabric, and adornments. We can make a complete vestment set, as well as specific items, i.e., copes, stoles, chasubles. The vestments and other liturgical sewn goods are made of brocade, church silk, crepe satin, viscose rayon, and velvet. The workshops’ craftsmen have been making pieces of great beauty and magnificence: church vestments, liturgical sets, shrouds, banners, covers and bookmarks for the Gospel, chalice veils, and burses.
