As is our tradition, in the weeks leading up to Christmas and Pascha, our Catalogue of Good Deeds hosted the charitable campaigns Secret Angel and Easter Basket. Today, we would like to share the fruits of your generosity and, above all, the joy it brought to many hearts.
Thanks to your support, we were able to bring festive gifts and practical assistance to residents of OCHAG, a social care home in Minsk that is spiritually cared for by Saint Elisabeth Convent. Many of the people living there have neurological and developmental disabilities and spend most, if not all, of their lives within the institution’s walls. For them, every visit, every act of kindness, and every reminder that they are remembered becomes a source of encouragement and hope.
Your donations helped meet a number of the residents’ everyday needs. In addition, the gifts you purchased through our catalogue were delivered personally to their new owners. Among them were handmade textile toys, wooden keepsake boxes, perpetual calendars, bracelets crafted from semi-precious stones, warm woolen socks and mittens, a shawl, and a collection of Orthodox-themed games.
Yet the true value of these gifts cannot be measured in numbers. It is found in the smiles they brought, in the warmth of a personal encounter, and in the simple joy of knowing that someone cared enough to remember them.

May the Lord bless everyone who takes part in these charitable initiatives. Through your generosity, people who are often overlooked experience care, warmth, and Christian love. Together, we are able to bring a little more light into the lives of those who need it most.

Please continue to be a light in the darkness. Many Orthodox from all over the world are touched by what St. Elizabeth does, and many diffetent ministries that they provide.
