Explore bishop panagias, meticulously crafted in the non-ferrous metals workshop of St. Elisabeth Convent. Rooted in centuries-old techniques from the 10-13th centuries, these pieces continue to hold their value today. Made using electrotype, filigree, and etching methods, each panagia is gilded and silvered.

These techniques, both individually and combined, create intricate designs. The process also involves casting, chemical milling with stones, and the use of various materials like brass, copper, and wood. Some panagias are adorned with semiprecious stones or pearls.

Creation of each bishop panagia takes over a month to create each panagia.
We welcome you to explore our assortment of panagias.
