Prosphora seals have a concave image that, when pressed into the dough, becomes embossed. These prosphora stamps are crafted from metal, plastic, or wood. Metallic ones are considered the best, as they provide a clearer imprint, and the dough is less likely to stick to them. Among metals, brass is the preferred choice for making the prosphora stamp due to its resistance to oxidation.

For the Eucharistic Prosphora, the size is typically medium, with variations available for different services. The larger the congregation partaking in the Liturgy, the larger the Eucharistic Prosphora should be. The seal features a cross and the monogram: IC XC NI KA.
