He lived through hell. It is really too bad that the present Kirill, Patriarch of Moscow has not the heart or spirit of Elder Kirill. Patriarch Kirill is a pupet of the Putin government and has no guts to stand up to Putin. Kirill says that Russia is only protecting it’s borders. Since when do the Russian ‘borders’ extend all the way to Hungary? Ukraine is a sovereign, independent democracy. Russia and Belorus have no right going into Ukraine and causing murder and mayhem to the People thereof. This is NOT the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Patriarch Kirill and Vladimir Putin are great actors and pretenders. Neither of them are true believers. Orthodoxy is only a convenience to them and people like them.
