Thank you so much for the explanation and photographs of the different types of ‘analogeia’. In addition to this I would be very pleased, if you could provide me with further information about
1. when and where did the use of the ‘analogeion’ showing to the believer(s) ‘the specific icon of the day’ or of the ‘liturgical feast’ begin?
2. when was the ‘analogeion’ positioned in the front of the church to being venerated by the believers, the people?
