Interestingly, in her trilogy &quot;Kassia&quot; (in Russian), Kassia (Tatiana) Senina proposes that the exchange between St Kassia and Theophilus at the &quot;bride show&quot; is actually an out-take from a homily by St John Chrysostom on the Annunciation. I have not been able to confirm this, but *as portrayed in the novel*, both St Kassia and Theophilus were familiar with numerous theological writings.]]></description>
