I believe St Kassia is commemorated on September 7/20 (the eve of the Nativity of the Theotokos). Interestingly, in her trilogy “Kassia” (in Russian), Kassia (Tatiana) Senina proposes that the exchange between St Kassia and Theophilus at the “bride show” is actually an out-take from a homily by St John Chrysostom on the Annunciation. I have not been able to confirm this, but *as portrayed in the novel*, both St Kassia and Theophilus were familiar with numerous theological writings.
