After *actually sitting down to read or pray* the statements are invariably valid. The first hurdle was the semantic reordering of how I understood passion vs Passions. Again with the Jesus prayer of the heart (I mean, how could I possibly be such a sinner!? I’m an ok dude)
And on and on. Always at first encountering a wall in my own mind. Then gently eroding that wall and by shutting down the ego and letting God do work on me. Always for the better.

This article jumped out at me with such an internal wall.
