Quite comprehensive. Seems like a lot of clergy tend to side-step this one lol. As for the two extremes presented, I tend to go with this one ““Keep waiting, praying and actively participating in church life, keep asking God. When the time is right, you will meet the one; if you do not, then it is unnecessary”Makes more sense than the second thought ““It does not matter, whom to marry. In the end, only children are important; love, in turn, comes with habit” The latter strikes me as not being sensitive to a person’s unique needs for partnership. Children are part of a marriage of course, but we are partners as well, and how can one live successfully or even parent successfully with someone who at your very heart may find repulsive in both looks and character? Love will never come from that habit. Only misery. It’s a big reason why we’re seeing so many marriages breaking up after 20, 30, even 40 years.
