Our holy fathers exegetes of New Testament like St. Theophilactus the Bulgarian, St. Theodoret of Cyrus talking about another. Now we can praying everywhere (not only in Jerusalem’s Temple how it was in Old Testament) and anybody (not just priests). And main thing there are not physicaly position of parts of our bodyes, but ‘…hands…free from anger and controversy’.
Saints talk about that all of us must feel ourselves like a poors asking almsgiving from our Lord. I think raising hands about it.

Psalm 134:2 Lift up holy hands in prayer, and praise the LORD.

1Timothy 2:8 In every place of worship, I want men to pray with holy hands lifted up to God, free from anger and controversy.

It’s just my own opinion. What reason you or somebody else want praying with raise hands? If you think that this action make your praying more ‘better’, I think it’s wrong thought. It’s more acting than praying. If raise hands is continue of internal humble request to Lord it can be using sometimes. Difference is that from internal to external or vise versa.
