To say that would be the same as saying..there were no cures for many diseases and illnesses in the Bible other then miracles so do not get treatments. God gave man brains to think with and to evolve with. Cremation is a part of that.

Cremation is mentioned in the Old Testament. Please read: Amos. 2:1 and 6: 8-10. Please read Samuel 1, or 1 Kingdom 31: 12. For some reason the Orthodox Study Bible it Reads and shows the word Buried rather than burned. Please read Psalms 102 (103) 15-17.
