It gives great insight into how the Orthodox persevered in Soviet times — unlike the propaganda that is often fed us in America by the media regarding Soviet times. I hope to visit St. Elisabeth one day and meet Fr. Eugene and the other priests. Maybe even join the convent. I know it is a long way from America to Belarus. It clearly is a very special place. Note to the editors: A mistake in the article reads "100th anniversary of Rus" when it should read the "1000th anniversary."
