Between 1983-1988 I was blessed to found The Annunciation Orthodox Church, a Clinic and school on Bukasa Island. I frist wrote about this in National Geographic Magazine, "Return to Uganda," July 1980. The mission continues–Visit Orthodox Africa on Facebook and its Monastic leader Father Silouan (Chris Brown). Look at the photographs of Father Christopher Walusimbi's stone Church Annunciation which he built bu hand over the last 35 years, and if you read the Book, and receive a blessing, and have the humility to knowthat you really know nothing, then go and humbly help your brothers in Christ. The experience will be at the very minimum remarkable.
