But there is plenty about it that is mistaken and inaccurate. A better rule of thumb than deciding for yourself, would be to ask your father confessor/spiritual father. If the midnight to midnight fasting rule were kept in every circumstance, you would not be able to break the Great Fast on Pascha until Midnight on Bright Monday.
